Update of Sauber C32. Completely reworked original skin to HD & DHD quality for F1 2013 ™ by Codemasters.

Indian Grand Prix - Sauber: We still have a lot of work to do

It was a normal Friday for the Sauber F1 Team during the first two practice sessions at the Buddh International Circuit. While Nico Hülkenberg showed better pace, Esteban Gutiérrez was not as satisfied with his C32 today. The team was able to gather a lot of valuable tyre data and still has some work to do, especially to improve the performance on the soft tyre compound.

Nico Hülkenberg:

Sauber C32-Ferrari (Chassis 03/Ferrari 056)
1st Practice: 9th / 1:27.770 min (19 laps) / 2nd Practice 14th / 1:27.491 min (40 laps)

“Today was quite a good Friday. No big dramas, stable weather, and good running. We were able to work through the whole programme, so that was good. We collected some good tyre data, which is always most important on a Friday. Regarding the performance on the Medium tyres, I’m quite happy with the car. On the Soft tyre compound I think, we still need to work a bit and find better solutions for the set up. On both the low and high fuel runs it wasn’t ideal. Tomorrow I think we will be able to push for the top ten.”

Esteban Gutiérrez:

“It was a very complicated day. We were trying to find out exactly where we stood on the track and it’s been quite challenging, because the pace is just not there, neither on the high or the low fuel. I am not happy with the way the car is handling and the way it feels. I’m not very confident at the moment. Obviously, I was trying to do my best to put everything together, but we are missing quite a lot. The most surprising thing was the lack of pace in the long runs. The degradation on the Soft tyre was quite high. Also, on the Medium tyre I wasn’t able to find the pace. We have to look into that now and see how we can improve the car as well as myself.”

Tom McCullough, Head of Track Engineering: “Today was about understanding how the tyres performed on track, and optimising the car set-up around those. It’s clear from today’s running we still have a lot of work to do on the Soft tyre for low fuel performance, and also the management on a long stint. We were much happier with how the car performed on the Medium tyre, especially on the longer runs, which gives us confidence for the race. Our homework for tonight is to get more out of the car with the soft tyre. Esteban struggled with the lack of overall grip today. So we need to check the car and analyse the data so that we understand where this is coming from.”<<source>>

Completely reworked original skin. Reworked logos, nuts, screws, carbon fibre, etc. Changed the carbon fibre to a different one along with nuts as the original ones didn't look really good. Done in HD (4096x4096)  & DHD (8192x8192) sizes. Files are clearly marked in the download file.


  • Fixed the carbon fiber size made it smaller on rear wing and both on the side of the car too and on the front wings too
  • Fixed the bolts on the chelsea logo now they should be under it
  • Fixed the cuervo logo.



Make sure, when extracting the files, that you backup your original game files. After you have downloaded a file. Unzip the rar file… choose one size HD(4096) or DHD(8192) and copy/replace the whole folder »cars« in your main directory of F1 2013 under »Drive:\Steam\SteamApps\common\ F1 2013».

    1. Double HD (DHD - 8192px) is much better quality then HD (4096px). That's the difference between DHD and HD. But if u have slower (older) graphi card i recommend u to use HD quality of textures.
